8 Week Cycle Dates: Monday 7-March to Saturday 30-April
8 Week Goal:
Increase strength and standards of the squat variants and over head / shoulder barbell work. We will achieve the strength increase through a combination of high repetition / accessory movements and lower rep higher weight / RM lifts.
We will be going for a high degree of gymnastic pulling movements in WODs during this 8 week cycle – the WOD for each day will not be shown until 5am that day.
Monday: Back Squat – GVT – 10×10 with Strict 60sec Rest Periods
Tuesday: Push Press – Work to a 5RM in 20 minutes
Wednesday: Front Squat 5-5-5-5-5
Thursday: Olympic Weightlifting
Friday: Hang Power Clean – Work to a 5RM in 20 minutes
Saturday: Turkish Get Up – Work to a heavy single in 20 minutes, 1 rep on each side with no rest between
Sunday: Rest, it’s Sunday!
